for a few weeks now, FXCM has changed the spread conditions of its demo trading accounts. Till recently FXCM’s demo accounts had the same operating conditions than their real “low spread” accounts with an average spread of 0.1-0.3 pips for the EUR/USD pair. Now this spread has risen to 1.2-1.3 pips in demo accounts.
Consequently, ApaChE and KproteKT cannot work in optimal conditions in demo accounts anymore and it unfortunately does not make sense to install them as they’ll never replicate the performance you can see in the myfxbook account.
Nonetheless I will keep them available for download for now if you want to see what they look like.
The good news is anyway that we now have 7 months of track record in real account and you can now replicate the performance of ApaChE and KproteKT in your own real acount. (FXCM or not)
